Schweiger's hand held perimeter

This arc-perimeter was invented in 1888 as a design of Schweiger. The arc’s position is shown on a circular scale attached at the rotation point.

The vertical rod with the slanted plate is placed against the lower rim of the eye socket of the eye being examined.
