Revolutionary war steel spectacles are double-folding spectacles that date back to the mid 1700s.
The glass lenses are convex with optical aberrations in them indicating the original lenses of that day.
New lenses may be installed by one’s optician.
Frame appears to be made of iron or steel. There are no maker’s marks.
