Pantoscope ophthalmoscope complete in case with accessories, 13 diopter glass,spare bulb, condensing lens, scleral transilluminator, presbyopic attachment, high myopic attachment.
Multi-purpose ophthalmoscope which became very popular with ophthalmologists in the 1950s and 1960s.
The instrument is powered by a 12 volt, 12 watt pre-centered lamp with a plano top to eliminate striations in the glass found in bulbs with a rounded top.
The instrument has three beams, one for Direct Ophthalmoscopy,
another for Indirect Ophthalmoscopy and the third for Macula examination. Each aperture can be varied in size by a diaphragm.
The Pantoscope has an intense slit beam, and both polarized and red free filters are built into the instrument.
Accessories included a trans-illuminator, high myopic attachment,and a high plus telescope.
